A payor is an individual or an organization who pays inpatient department bills. Payors play an important role in providing patients with the health insurance coverage needed to receive necessary healthcare services. However, each payor has its own set of rules called billing rules.
A billing rule is basically a protocol to define exclusions and automate payments. In context of healthcare, billing rules are set rules in the process of billing for services rendered to a policy holder under an insurance company.
In Easy Clinic, as a tenant, you can enlist your associated payors under the insurance/corporate list pages.
- You can go to contact under settings and access insurance or corporate page. Click add new button.
- Fill the up required details and click on Save.
