- You can find diagnosis section in the EMR on the left hand side. Click on “+” icon or simply click any where inside the diagnosis component to expand the section.
- The Diagnosis component comes with some most common diagnosis already displayed followed by a “more” button.
- You can search any diagnosis by typing it in the search box.
- Once you select any diagnosis , a panel will show up with the diagnosis parameters which is needed to record against the diagnosis.
- For example you have chosen “Heart failure”. The parameters are as follows(However, they are not mandatory) –
- Diagnosis Type – You may choose any option among confirmed, provisional or to rule out.
- Dual diagnosis- only applicable if you prefer to call diagnosis with any other standard known names like ICD10 codes or others.
- You can add any diagnosis to favorite or remove any diagnosis from favorites using the favorite button beside the name of diagnosis.
- You can type any kind of clinical notes in the notes section.
- You can edit the name of any diagnosis by going to the context menu on the top right corner of the component-> Manage diagnosis list->click on edit icon->update the name.
- While searching, if the name doesn’t exist, you can click on it to add a new diagnosis.
